|
|
Over the years, I collected an awful lot of fan art related to Zorori. There is a lot of 'IMFAMOUS' Zorori Fan Art, but this thread is not for those, please.
It's also not for screenshots from the episodes, official artwork (like the wallpapers - which we probably should have a separate thread for), or photos of various Zorori merchandise (another good thread opportunity).
I'll start this thread with a fairly easy to find one, but possibly /the best/ fanart picture of Zorori ever by CAMARADE (I use it on my Motorola V3 as a background):
Many images can be found on his P-Journal here, though Zorori drawing dropped off soon after February of 2007 when the show was cancelled:

| Indeed, it's great. Sadly, Camarade's blog only goes back to 12/2/06... Are his earlier works available somewhere, or are they lost to the sands of time? |

That's a very good question, and should be a rallying point for those that might have copies of the earlier pieces. Start posting those (or any good work-safe fan art) to this thread if you got them!
PS: Here's a clever "Kitsune Udon" one from an unknown source:

'INFAMOUS' Zorori Fanart
Some non-infamous art
I have more, but most of it is GaonxZorori I found on Japanese sites. |

...and this is me threating to beat Axelfar up for mentioning said "IMFAMOUS" art...
(Just kidding, Axelfar. Ironically, I think this picture actually was a response to the plethora that sort of art.) |

Interesting image, I wonder what they're saying
And I only mentioned it because I chuckled at how you worded non-worksafe images. Very clever.
And the GaoZo images I have are clean, I just won't post them for the sake of people who aren't into slash. I don't want to incur their wrath.

I remember this artist. The work is brilliant. Especially see the very strange 'chicken costume' series. One of these days I'm going to make a gif movie slideshow of those.
EDIT: Here it is. It's not really heavily spoilerish since Gaon is a fairly major character seen just about everywhere, but I put it as a thumbnail link so you can easy start the "GIF Movie" to see it from the beginning. I made sure to put the artist's website in the end credits.

Strange, yes, but it makes for a funny gif. |

The story behind it requires a little bit of Japanese Culture mining... Apparently, if you dream about Mt. Fuji, a Bird (Hawk specificially?), and an Eggplant, you will have a good year ahead of you. Though Gaon has more of a nightmare around those themes, ironically.

One of the images posted here and LMK's avatar icon make me wish there was more fanart of Zorori's dad. He's a good-lookin' fox.
Well, here's a picture of his good-for-nothing son. It looks more official than fan-art, but I have no idea what the source is.

You are right. This is only one I have of him. It's really good, at least. |

I guess I'm not the only person that finds the hand structures of Zorori and most of the cast a little disconcerting. I mean, give credit that having three digits matches the hands and feet, but yes... it does tend to look like the middle finger is constantly out. |

Now that Zorori is getting subbed, hopefully there will be more fanart of him and his dad.

This all comes from a double episode around 2/3rds through. Shameless crossdressing disguise leads to gender identity crisis. Hilarious. |
